I awoke at 6 and the rough sea had abated and I guess we had passed through some rough stormy sea at night. Even now it looked grey and bleak outside. The clouds mostly covered the sky with the occasional hint that their was "a sun" beyond. The sea still had a swell and movement was felt. we were happy that the ship had large stabilisers.
After breakfast we packed our bags so it would be ready for collection after 6 pm in the evening. Meaning Saturday morning we would be able to eat breakfast and go.
By 10am more sun was breaking through the cloud mass.
The morning we spent between Java and lunch place and from two to three taking it easy on the balcony. employing hearing the wind blowing and watching the swell whilst catching up with the blog. Occasionally we passes an oil rig. if i understood the ships navigator correctly the water on this shelf is only sixty meters deep. Thinking that the ship is fifty-nine meters high had we have been upside down we would have hit the bottom in places. Good job we were the right way up.
The sky was overcast most of the time and occasionally a ray of sun peeped out and a brief heat was felt. for a moment or so I felt the sun trying to get through, but the cloud was winning for the most part. Finally the the cold also won and I returned in to the cabin. Sammy met the others whist I rested. we all met together for dinner.
